====== Applying a Discount to a Subscription ======

You can apply a discount to an existing subscription by using [[:merchant_guide:manage-subscriptions-edit-features#custom-subscription-adjustments|Custom Subscription Adjustments]].

  * The discount will be listed as a separate line item in the subscription summary
  * The discount applies to the recurring payment (it's not a one-time adjustment)
  * Custom Subscription Adjustments can be removed, so you can remove the discount at any time, if needed.
